Bananas are a fantastic product grown, packed, and transported from many of the coastal regions of tropical and sub-tropical Australia to supermarkets and shops in your neighbourhood.
Like many other fruits, bananas remain as living organisms after they have been harvested, taking in oxygen and giving out carbon dioxide, responding to temperature changes and the environment.
This makes bananas a very sensitive product to transport and manage and there are many things that can affect the quality of bananas enroute from the farm to your kitchen.
That's why we need your help.
We need to hear your impressions of the fruit you buy so that we can ensure that you, the consumer, are getting exactly the product and the quality you want.
For this reason we have included a consumer feedback form.
If you have any problems with the quality of any bananas that you buy or changes that you would like to see to the range, type or presentation of bananas please contact us using the form below and we will do our best to get that information back to the people that need to know - the stores, wholesalers, trasporters and growers that all handle the fruit along the way.
Information that is valuable to us is:
The date that you purchased the fruit
The store you purchased it from
The nature of the problem you encountered
The name of the grower if possible (Names are generally printed on the banana carton. You may need to ask the store manager.)
Positive feedback is great too so we'd love to hear from you if you like the product you are getting so we can pass that information on to the people involved and let them know when they are doing a great job.
